- How much does it cost to distribute my music?Our distribution fee is 20% of your net revenue. There are no hidden fees—no monthly, yearly, or per-product charges. We earn only if you earn. However, with our paid plan, you will receive 100% of your royalties.
- What is Melodify Distribution?Melodify is a UK registered company that in partnership with the FUGA provides an optimum solution for digital distribution of your music content. We at Melodify believe that we should not work as a standard service company but help artists, labels and distributors adapt to and develop in the ever-changing music industry.
- How do I withdraw my money?We know how important it is for you to receive your revenue quickly and securely, which is why Melodify has partnered with Payoneer to ensure that your payments are in safe hands. Payoneer is a leading international payment company whose clients include Uber and Airbnb and is known for its fast, secure, reliable, and flexible access to the money you make from your music. With Payoneer, you can withdraw your money via PayPal, a paper check, load it onto a prepaid Mastercard, or send it straight to your bank account. We do our best to review all withdrawal requests within 3 business days.

- Can I edit my release after it's been confirmed?If you need to edit your release you can do so for free until it has been quality checked and sent to stores by Melodify. If we see a mistake or problem with the release, we will send you an email and you can update Chargeable.
- Do you work with music videos?Yes we do. You can set up a Vevo channel and upload a music video to be distributed to the platform for free.
- How long does it take to release my music?Your release can be live on Apple Music/iTunes within 5 working days of Uploading, however we do generally advise to allow up to 3 weeks for all stores to become live. Please remember these are approximate timeframes and should be used as guidelines only.
- How do I view my sales data & earnings?To view your sales data and royalty earnings, just log into your Dashboard, and then choose either ‘Analytics’, from the drop-down menu’ or Revenue ‘Analytics’
- How much will I get paid?The royalty returns on streams is approximately 0.003p per stream, but may vary in different territories. The amount paid for downloads will also vary, as stores take a commission between 10-30%, and then there is around 3-5% variance in bank charges when they send the royalties over. VAT is not applicable on royalties.
- How do I create a new release?Once you’ve signed up and logged into your Melodify dashboard, you can click on “Aritsts”, locate “Music” in the drop-down menu and click on “Create Artist First” to start uploading your music. After Creating Artist Go To “Create”, locate “Music” in the drop-down menu and click on “Create new” to start uploading your music.“Assets”, locate “Music” in the drop-down menu and click on “Create new” to start uploading your music. However, if this process is complicated, you can always upload manually by clicking here, our capable content team will process your release and this will reflect on your dashboard.
